I remember when I had photos done of my own family a couple of years ago and my kids were absolutely feral, out of control, hyperactive and didn’t want to listen. I remembered to let go and let them be silly and I joined in the silliness, I let myself have fun and you know what? The photos of us laughing together, the connection captured, is something I’ll always treasure. I feel like this is a lesson in everyday life for me and I should remember it more often, let go of the control and join in the fun. I told Anna this as we did her shoot and I love these photos of her connecting with her boys while they were being themselves and not conforming to a boring ‘posed’ shoot. These are the best kind of photos, a gorgeous Mumma connecting with her boys.
